Coach Hepper, also the head coach at Massaponax high school, & Coach Tierney the coach at James Monroe high school, were among ONLY 25 players selected! 

*The U.S. Women’s Indoor head coach Denise Zelenak announced the 2013-14 U.S. National Indoor Team. Selections were conducted March 18 in Pottstown, Pa. From the pool of current athletes, a squad will be selected to represent the U.S. in the 2014 Pan American Indoor Cup, a qualifier for the FIH Indoor World Cup to be held in Germany in 2015.

The senior squad consists of twenty-five players including twelve returning athletes. The newly selected team will begin an extensive training schedule in preparation for the 2014 Pan American Cup. The squad may be expanded once waiver try-outs are completed within the next month.

“I am pleased to add to an already strong foundation,” said Zelenak. “The addition of twelve quality players will go a long way towards pushing our program to the level necessary to achieve our short term goal of winning the 2014 Pan American Cup. I look forward to working with the new players, as well as, our now internationally experienced team.”
