U19 Head Coach, Lindsey Heppner. Lindsey brings a wealth of field hockey knowledge and experience to HV. As a stand-out defensive player and penalty corner hitter for Coach Woodie at Stafford High School, she earned 1st Team All-State and 1st Team All-Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area honors in 2002. Lindsey was also selected as the Female Athlete of the Year in 2003. She continued he field hockey career on scholarship at the Univ of Delaware from 2003-2007. In 2004 Lindsey enjoyed one of the finest seasons in UD history when the Blue Hens went 15-7, captured the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament. She became a Certified Futures Coach while attending UD and has been actively involved with a variety of field hockey camps, including; Nike, UD, and the Univ of Mary Washington. She was a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Divison I National Academic Team, and CAA Academic Honor Roll all four years at UD. Lindsey was named the Head Coach at Massaponox High School in 2011.
